SHR FLEX COMPLETE KITS

SHR FLEX COMPLETE KITS

SHR FLEX the new Frontal Head Restraint from SCHROTH. Designed for optimum safety, comfort, and ease of use.

Simple Sizing – only two sizes – Medium (up to 16 ½”) neck and Large. You can use a large even if your neck is smaller to give more room over a collar bone.
Angle Independent – the small, low collar works perfectly with any seating angle and does not interfere with the seatback. The articulating collar rises in an impact to create the optimum tether angle. Perfect for drivers with multiple cars
Load controlling “bump stop” – the legs are connect to the collar along with a unique bump stop that smooths out the initial tether loading and allows proper collar angle
Floating Tether – the floating tether allows a full range of motion of the head to the left and right while also adding some side stability
Flexible legs – the legs of the FLEX have the padding molded in eliminating the need for additional pads. This allows the belts to fit tight to the body and keeps the FLEX from moving under the belts
Retention ears – the collar features extended vertical ears at the outside edge that help to keep your belts on the FLEX even in a secondary impact.
Slip-Stop – mate your FLEX with SCHROTH Slip-Stop shoulder belts for intensive off road and rallye applications. Slip-Stop shoulder belts have a counter groove on the back of the belt that fits with groves on the top of the lower legs of the FLEX.

CLUBMAN BELTS - 3 LAPS - FIA/SFI 16.1

CLUBMAN BELTS - 3" LAPS - FIA/SFI 16.1

Schroth's Clubman has one aim. Provide a superior harness for people needing a lower cost belt. By using cheaper adjusters, and only providing one configuration, we were able to bring the cost down.

What is the difference between this and the next level up "Profi" belts?
Adusters and Options. The adjusters in the Clubman belt are the heavy, bulky steel adjusters that are common on competitors restraints. They are not as easy to use and add weight to the harness. They are, however, cheaper and bring down the overall cost of the harness. As far as options, we only offer the Clubman in a few configurations. This streamlines the ordering, shipping and stocking process and trickles the savings down to you.

Why would you want this belt?
There are a couple reasons you might want this belt. Mainly cost. Drag racers, circle track racers, and many other racing bodies must have SFI 16.1 approved harnesses. While our other restraints are SFI Approved, this ruleset requires that the restraints be replaced every two years. Replacing a ~$340 restraint every two years gets pricey.

To that end, we were determined to come up with a solution to the problem. Here is a belt that meets all the same stringent specifications that our other belts do (In addition to SFI 16.1, this belt also meets FIA approvals). Yet we cut costs to price it less than competitor's belts.

LATCHLINK 3 LAPS - SFI 16.1

LATCHLINK 3" LAPS - SFI 16.1

The Schroth Latchlink III offers 3" laps belts with your choice of lap belt adjuster style as well as shoulder and sub-strap configurations with a SFI 16.1 certification.

The 3" Latchlink lap belts are available in a pull-up, pull-down and non-adjustable version for both the left side and right side belt. This allows a racer to configure his/her lap belts to work the best way possible for their particular application. The 3" Latchlink laps can be used in conjunction with the 2" shoulder belts, the 3" shoulder belts or the Over/Under double shoulder belt. The 2" shoulder belt is recommend for drivers who are using a HANS or similar style Forward Head Restraint while the 3" shoulders are designed for use without such a device.

For the ultimate in comfort and safety, the over/under double shoulder belt is the best solution. The double shoulder belt features a 3" belt that retains the driver’s body as well as a 2" upper belt that retains the HANS device in an accident.

The Latchlink III comes with 3 possible sub-strap configurations depending on a driver’s preference. Sub-straps can be ordered in the 6 point V style, a non-adjustable single sub-strap or an in-line adjustable single sub-strap.

All points on a Latchlink III belt, regardless of configuration, come with wrap in hardware. Bolt-in or snap-in hardware must be purchased separately but can be installed on any point.

LATCHLINK 2 LAP BELTS - SFI 16.1

LATCHLINK 2" LAP BELTS - SFI 16.1

The Schroth Latchlink II offers 2" lap belts with your choice of lap belt adjuster style as well as shoulder and sub-strap configuration with a SFI 16.1 certification.

Just like in Schroth camlock belts, the 2" latchlink lap belt is a safer and more comfortable option than using 3" lap belts. The 2" lap belt allows the lap belt to fit on the pelvis better for a tighter and more comfortable fit. We strongly recommend the Latchlink II for all applications and race series. The 2" Latchlink lap belts are available in a pull-up, pull-down and non-adjustable version for both the left side and right side belt. This allows a racer to configure his/her lap belts to work the best way possible for their particular application.

BOLT-ON & SNAP-ON MOUNTING HARDWARE KITS

BOLT-ON & SNAP-ON MOUNTING HARDWARE KITS

Schroth's Bolt On brackets are very unique and have specific uses. Usually the brackets needed for harness use are included with each belt. However, they can be purchased separately because each bracket sovles some common problems associated with certain belt installations.

The 01323 Kit is a bolt-in kit for 3" webbing. It is designed in such a way that it can be bent with pliers to a specific angle for acheiving a perfect harness installation. The most common use is for shoulder belts that need to be bolted into a harness bar. Will need the 3 bar slides that come with your shoulder belts. If you need those as well, you need the "Wrap Kit".

The 01324 Kit is a set of bolt in brackets that are usually sewn into 2" Lap belts. We call it a "Rallye End" kit because it usually comes on the street legal Rallye style belts. Like the 01323 kit, it is designed to be bent. These pieces are commonly used in Porsche applications where space for an Eye bolt is insufficient. This bracket can be bolted to the car, then bent so that a Snap-In bracket can be used to fix the harness to the bracket. We use these brackets in many applications where stock mounting locations do not leave sufficient space, or if the thread pitch is different from the eye bolts.

The 01326 Kit is a rigid bolt in bracket for 2" webbing that has a 3 bar slide integrated into it. This gets rid of the need for any other brackets on the lap belt, as well as gives a method of adjustment on lap belts with no adjusters (Formula style belts sometimes come with no lap adjusters). The brackets have about a 10 degree angle to them which needs to be taken into account. These brackets can also be used for HANS Specific shoulder belts.

HYBRID BELTS - 2 LAPS - FIA ONLY

HYBRID BELTS - 2" LAPS - FIA ONLY

The Hybrid belts are a breakthrough in Harness design, blending a formula style harness with something much more effective that gives excellent restraint in an extremely comfortable package.

Typical Formula restraints (Profi II Formula/Profi III Formula) display high upper torso trajectory during a crash. To reduce this trajectory, the crotch straps have to be routed backwards and to be worn extremely tight. Some drivers complain of reduced blood flow in their legs. In addition, this configuration does not help during a rear impact to keep the buckle and the lap belt in place. In particular in typical open wheel race car seating positions the driver is not kept firmly in his seat but is likely to move up exceeding the roll over protection.

The so called "T-bar" 6 point restraints (Profi II-6/Profi III-5/Profi III-6) provide a better restraining function since the anti-sub straps can be routed downward following approximately a chest/crotch tangential. This keeps the buckle in place and provides direct load transfer from the shoulder straps into the Anti-sub strap. During a rear impact the Anti-sub strap keeps the buckle and lap belt in place and restrains the driver much better in the seat. The disadvantage of this type of harness: the T-bar should have a certain width to properly separate the Anti-sub straps but is likely to stick into the upper thighs. To increase the comfort, the buckle is often not worn as low as it should be for best lap belt positioning.

The solution: the revolutionary Schroth Hybrid restraint. The crotch straps are not routed through D-rings or attached to a T-bar, but are held directly by the specially developed lap belt latches. shoulder belts through the buckle into
